CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

 

BEGINNER BASICS WORKSHOP-

Gain insight into the Power Vinyasa Flow inspired by Baron Baptiste in this free monthly workshop. You will be introduced to the fundamental poses as well as appropriate modifications for your body and level. Perfect starting place for those beginning their yoga journey! This workshop is all levels and everyone is welcome!

 

COMMUNITY HAPPY HOUR-

Join us on the last Tuesday of every month from 7:30-9 pm for a community happy hour at East Side Denton, adjacent to the studio. This is a great opportunity for yogis to come together and get to know one another. Friends and family of yogis are more than welcome to join (as are pets!)

 

Gentle Yoga

Gentle Yoga is a slower paced class that uses classical Hatha postures that allow time for understanding alignment and breath in the body. Experience all the benefits yoga has to offer such as: tension release, strengthening and mental clarity in this style accommodating all levels of practitioners. Non-heated 75-80 Degrees

 

YIN YOGA-

Yin Yoga is the perfect complement for the yang style (power) yoga we practice at AYL. Yin Yoga targets the connective tissue — ligaments, bones and joints — as opposed to the muscles that are exercised in PowerYoga. Yin Yoga is suitable for students of all levels and is highly recommended for ALL Power Yogis.

 

Gentle + Yin-

All the benefits of our gentle yoga class (30 minutes) combined with deep stretching Yin(30 minutes). This practice will get into your all of your tight places and head spaces!  The focus is on breath both in movement and stillness. A slower pace at a lower temperature makes this combination class one you will definitely want to try! Great for all levels of practitioners non- heated 75-80 degrees.

 

Power + Yin-

This class begins with a 30 minute of a Power yoga  sequence using many of the poses found in the Baptiste’s Journey into Power  combined with the 30 minutes of Yin yoga, a traditional deep stretching and mindful stillness practice. It’s the perfect yang yin! Heated class 95 degrees.

POWER 60-

This 60-minute all-levels class will take you through a short, yet challenging and transformational flow, that will leave you feeling strengthened and empowered. Connect with your breath, flow, with your body, and create a bigger way of being in only 60 minutes.

 

POWER 75-

In this invigorating all-levels class, challenge and strengthen, empower and transform your body, mind and spirit!

 

POWER BEATS-

The same juicy and empowering class as our Power 60 but set to music! Playlist changes every week and like all of our classes, this class is all-levels. Come rock out with us!

 

INTERVAL YOGA-

Based on Sadie Nardini's Yoga Shred model, Interval Yoga is a 26-minute mini class with fast paced movements that combine the best of HIIT and yoga exercises. Prepare to sweat and get your heart pumping in this strengthening and all-levels class. Stay for 1, 2, or 3 classes in a row!

 

PRIVATE YOGA-

A private yoga session is an amazing opportunity for you to get one-on-one guidance and attention. It can be used to familiarize you with the poses as well as deepen your understanding and execution of the flow.
