Yoga provides a safe environment for teens to learn and practice tools that will help them navigate through their daily lives. Through honest communication and problem solving, yoga gives students the opportunity to work through the challenges they face growing up.
Yoga can support adolescents in: their sense of self, body image, personal safety, acceptance, emotions, stress, peer pressure, and success.
The classes in this series will consist of breathing exercises, yoga postures, partner work, games, and relaxation.
